Making $10K a Month with Trading

I would need to make like 20-30k per month to even consider trading full time, what if you have a bad month? Or a couple bad months? 10 would be enough to get by paycheck to pay check but I would barely be able to increase my portfolio and wouldn’t have much to add to the emergency fund. With a salary, I know it is coming next month, and I’m never going to lose money because of my salary.

I don’t even know what else to try anymore. 😞 This market has crushed me over and over. Spent money on courses, watched hours of YouTube, tested every strategy I could find, and I still can’t stay consistent. I’m tired of losing. I don’t need magic signals… I just want someone real, a mentor who trades side by side and actually shows me the ropes. I need results, not more empty theory.

He is saying 10k per month loosely i do believe. He means trading cant be your main source of income and u need to have a big enough revenue coming in to sustain trading as a job, because the markets dont owe you shit, and it doesnt care whether youve fed yourself today or not.

So bottom line, get a good liquidity provider (job) so you can trade and not worry about going broke

From a trader who I respect who has a fund with millions of dollars, he said you need to make 3x your salary for three years in a row before you can quit your day job. 1x for taxes. 1x to live on and 1x to grow the account. Personally, I’d also want to be out of debt so house and everything paid off.

❤ohh what i do for my wishlist of getting an apartment to happen, be so fulfilling. .. my mom and I recently lost our home 🏡 of five years and we've been trying to regain our purpose and hope, homelessness truly is hard and its saddening how many public resources fail to help those in need ❤️ we found new jobs though, on the bright side 🌼 and an apartment that approved us, but now we're stuck in between hotels and outside in the elements because we can't afford the deposit. I always wanted to trade crypto, so I gave it a shot despite being confused by the price volatility. Even after <watching many YouTube videos, I found it difficult to understand and ended up losing my trades.

I love Tjr, but this isn’t 100% true. If you can turn 200 into 1000 then you can turn 1000 into 2. Scaling is almost self explanatory with risk/leverage management.
