ITC will diversify on other FMCG and food and slowly reduce and get out of cigarettes. See Vazir Sultan Tobacco , that has also gone down by more than 30%.

Having read most of the comments, we should take note of all the points and maintain it somewhere , so we can check after 2 or 3 quarters, to check revenue growth and profit – in the meanwhile, hold the stock – what else, if you are a long term investor ?

ITC can be hold for life time. It will bounce back from its low, it is the past history of this share.

When tax is high obviously the consumption will be reduced and indirectly it affects the production so it indirectly reduces growth to the company

Most of the ITC holders are in panic now,😄, Guys do u still think Smokers will really quit smoking just because prices go up?… We’ve seen it already products like hans and coollip have faced multiple price hikes over the years, yet sales and profits are still strong📈. That’s why price hikes alone aren’t a big threat for companies like ITC. Demand stays steady.
