I have tried trading with news in past and this has been hit and miss for me. However my experience has taught me work with a master of trading and use his technique. Once such concept stuck me is on Copy Trading. I have recently discovered an offshore broker – Market101 – they have good deep list of masters and tecnology advantage.

You where saying, the traditonal way is not a good idea to trade news because of high risk due to slippage.

But how is it less risky to position yourself before the event as you are proposing instead like institutional traders? When the news hit and you are on the wrong side, your StopLoss execution will also degrade which will wreck all risk/reward calculations

in what timeframe do you decide the opposite trend before the new?

I use FBS ..CAN I TRUST THEM ???
